In a significant move that strengthens the Sultanate of Oman’s position in advanced vital industries, Khazaen Economic City is hosting a veterinary vaccine manufacturing plant for Madar Global for Veterinary Vaccines and Biotechnology. With an investment of OMR 15 million, the project targets an annual production capacity of one billion doses of poultry vaccines and one billion doses of vaccines for large animals and pets.
This project represents a strategic addition to the "Pharma City" cluster within Khazaen and serves as a key driver for localizing vital industries, enhancing food and animal health security, and improving supply chain efficiency. Furthermore, it plays a pivotal role in attracting high-value investments and creating economic opportunities that support the Sultanate’s economic diversification and the growth of promising sectors.
